Kansas Wheat Rx Schools to be held in Wichita and Hays
Wheat Rx seminars are scheduled for February 8 in Wichita and on February 9 in Hays. Wheat Rx is partnership between Kansas Wheat and K-State Research and Extension to disseminate the latest research recommendations for high-yielding and high-quality wheat to Kansas wheat farmers.

Winter wheat in Kansas is well adapted to the weather and soils, fits well in crop rotations, and brings several benefits beyond the value of the grain. However, since 2005, wheat acres have been declining in Kansas. A new publication in the Wheat Rx Series describes the versatility winter wheat brings to farming systems.
