Southwest Spring Field Day Set for May 21 in Garden City

The K-State Southwest Research-Extension Center will host its Spring Field Day on Wednesday, May 21, beginning at 4:00 p.m. (CT) at 4500 E. Mary St. in Garden City. The event will highlight current research and production updates relevant to cropping systems in southwest Kansas.

Program topics will include wheat and canola variety performance and year-in-review updates, bio-stimulant use in wheat, and annual forage variety performance and management. Presentations will be led by K-State specialists and researchers, including Logan Simon, Augustine Obour, Benjamin Garcia, Mike Stamm, and John Holman.
