The 2026 Kansas Soil Health Network Field Day will be held Thursday, June 4, at Guetterman Brothers Family Farms near Bucyrus, Kansas. The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with registration and morning refreshments at 8:30 a.m. The field day will feature field demonstrations, research updates, and farmer perspectives focused on soil health practices and management.

Featured presentations will include topics such as managing rye and hairy vetch cover crops, the role of cover crops in soil biology and root colonization, soil health research results, and the relationship between soil health practices and farm profitability.
The event will be hosted at Guetterman Brothers Family Farms, located at 9970 W. 215th St., Bucyrus, KS 66013.
Lunch will be provided following the program.
