Flooding rains overnight on September 8-9

Overnight rains on Sept. 8-9 created flooding issues in south central Kansas. Southern Sedgwick County received the heaviest rainfall amounts, although Woodson and Allen counties also had heavy totals. The map below illustrates the rainfall distribution.
